Release and Indemnity Agreement
The participant being of lawful age
and acting either for themselves or as an agent for a minor does hereby
release, acquit, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Williamson County,
Tennessee Government and Williamson County Parks & Recreation Department,
its employees, and agents from all claims, actions, cause of action, demands,
rights, damages, costs, loss of service, expenses and compensation whatsoever
that may accrue on account of or in any way growing out of any and all known,
unknown, foreseen, and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries and property
damage and the consequences thereof resulting from participation in any class
or program sponsored by the Williamson County Parks & Recreation Department
of Williamson County, Tennessee Government, unless such injury is a result of
any negligent act or omission by any employee and or agent of the Williamson
County Parks & Recreation Department of Williamson County, Tennessee Government
as provided in Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 29-20-205
Photography Policy
Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (“WCPR”) reserves the right to photograph classes, community events, programs, and participants at any of the Parks and Recreation facilities or properties, or any event sponsored by WCPR that is located on property not owned by Williamson County. Use of photographs may be used by WCPR for promotional purposes and may be used in publications and media communications in any format as WCPR decides without any obligation to provide compensation to those photographed.
Attendance at WCPR programs and events constitutes consent to be photographed for use in print and/or electronic publicity for WCPR. To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian. If you do not want us to use a photo of you or your child, please tell the WCPR staff member coordinating the event before the program or event.
If you see a photo of yourself or a family member that you wish not to be used by WCPR please notify WCPR staff. WCPR will take reasonable steps to remove and dispose of the photograph. WCPR may not be able to remove the photograph from printed media or other existing media where the photograph may have been used, but it will refrain from using the photograph in its future media.
WCPR may require you to complete a photograph release form to participate in a class, event, league or program.
