Joining your school trap team this year?

Get your USA CLAY Safe Field Day certificate at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club. 

The Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club will be hosting half day USA CLAY safe field days that qualifies student athletes for clay shooting sports (trap, skeet, & sporting clays).

Dates Saturday & Sundays in March: 

15th & 16th

22nd & 23rd

30th

Start times- 9am or 2pm

(choose at registration)

$99 per person

Includes ammo, clays & instruction 

Classes will fill up! Classes capped to 20 students per session.

• Classroom portion followed by hands on experience with trap, skeet, 5-stand & sporting clays.
• Recommended to bring own shotguns, but rentals may be shared amongst groups.
• Student athletes must have finished online firearm safety certification prior to field day, that can be found at usaclaytarget.com

At check in you must have the following: 

• An adult/guardian to sign a liability waiver for the participant 
• A Printed SAFE Certification Form 
• To obtain the form, you must go to usaclaytarget.com to complete the online Firearms Safety Certification course. 
• Eye and Ear Protection (available for purchase at the club) 

Range days will occur in all kinds of weather, so dress appropriately for being outside for a few hours. 

Range days will only be cancelled in extreme weather and participants will be notified.   

Refunds will only be granted if a class is cancelled by the MN Horse and Hunt Club.
